Marbled Purple Stripe hardneck variety. Originated on the Kamchatka Peninsula, Siberia. It was acquired by an Alaskan fisherman who bartered produce with eastern Siberian root crop farmers. Siberian is prized for its high content of allicin: which helps boost the immune system and increases circulation. A great choice for northern and southern gardeners: Siberian thrives in cold climates and has been field tested to perform well in west Texas. 5 - 9 giant cloves per bulb. 35 - 40 cloves per pound. Late harvest. Stores 5 months. Mild.
Please note: All pre-season orders placed now will be shipped in early October, 2017. (If you live in Alaska, or the North, we can ship sooner for you.) Thanks!
