German Mountain – Porcelain hardneck variety. This variety has a complex and subtle flavor and high allicin content. Very productive in cold winter climates. It has classic teardrop shaped bulbs that are characteristic of the Porcelain horticulture group.
German Mountain Garlic characteristics: 4 to 6 cloves per bulb. 40 to 45 cloves per pound. Late harvest. Stores 5 to 6 months. Zones 1 to 7. Produces scapes. Hot.
