Porcelain Hardneck Variety. Originated from the village of Hadrut Karabach, close to the Azebaijan border. Brought to the USA by Chester Aaron. This garlic thrives in cold winter climates. Armenian has large tear-drop shaped bulbs with giant Brazil nut sized cloves. A healthy choice for its high allicin content: allicin helps increase circulation and boosts the immune system. An excellent source of Vitamin C, B6, magnesium, potassium and calcium.
4 to 6 cloves per bulb. 25 to 30 cloves per pound. Late harvest. Stores 6 months. Zones 1 to 7. Produces scapes. Hot.
