Turban hardneck variety. This Italian cultivar originated from central Italy. Purple and white pinstriped bulb skins that turn dappled towards the basal plate. Turbans will be a good producer in most climates: from warm southern climates to cold northern climates. If you live in the south, Turbans are a great choice because they are early to harvest. The flavor is medium to hot, the perfect addition to your homemade marinara.
