Porcelain Hardneck variety. Ivan has a complex and subtle flavor, not as spicy as other Porcelains when eaten raw. Very productive in cold winter climates. It has classic teardrop shaped bulbs that are characteristic of the Porcelain horticulture group.
Ivan Characteristics: 4 to 6 cloves per bulb. 40 to 45 cloves per pound. Late harvest. Stores 5 to 6 months. Zones 1 to 7. Produces scapes. Hot.
