Kranagasger Red – Marbled Purple Stripe hardneck variety. Kranagasger Red is like Siberian’s big brother. It has magnificent dappled purple striped bulbs with huge cloves that are a pleasure to peel, flavor is aromatic spicy and when eaten raw. The Marbled Purple Stripes are genetically related to the Purple Stripe subgroup.
Kranagasger Red Garlic characteristics: 5-9 cloves per bulb. 35-40 cloves per pound. Late harvest. Store 6 months. Zones 1-6. Produces scapes. Hot. Medium hot.
