We have partnered with The Columbia Bar, LLC to bring you Black Garlic.  This black garlic is made in small batches with organic garlic- not from China!

Black garlic is fresh raw garlic (Allium sativum) that changes with time through the use of low heat and humidity of about 70% in a process called the Maillard reaction. During this process, the cloves turn a distinct black color. The garlic’s texture and flavor change as well. It’s softer, chewier, and sweeter than regular raw garlic.  It retains all the amazing health benefits of garlic but no garlic breath or sharp garlicky taste.

Eat it plain or spread on toast or burgers, blend with soft butter, delicious in most recipes or add to a charcuterie board with fruits and cheese.  Because of it’s complex sweetness, it makes a nice addition to sweet dishes. *** I have had a black garlic mocha and it was amazing!
