Kisklyk – Purple Stripe Hardneck Variety. Originated near Kisklyk, in the southern region of Uzbekistan. Kisklyk has very tight bulb skins therefore they have a very long shelf life for a hardneck. A complex flavor with large bulbs and the classic purple and white striped bulb skin.
Kisklyk Garlic Characteristics: 10 – 12 cloves per bulb. 50 – 60 cloves per pound. Late harvest. Stores 7-8 months. Small bulbs store the longest. [Hot] Recommended for Zones 1-9.
