Svea Hardneck Garlic

Marbled Purple Stripe Variety.  Popular for its large, plump cloves.  Consistently grows extra large bulbs with  beautiful purple/red mottling.  Flavor is strong but will mellow a bit when cooked.  A great variety to roast as it has a wonderful sweet and strong flavor.  Does well in cold climates.

Svea Characteristics:   6-8 large cloves per bulb;  hot;  stores 4-5 months; produces scapes
